445.0 is not stable on Windows 7 (at least for me), you will have to go to 440.0. |
Are you running ATI hardware? _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou are crunchy and taste good with ranch dipping sauce! |

Yes, I have an ATI Radeon 4870.
Are different versions stable for Nvidia & ATI? |

Something about: Windows Blue screen of death
This error occurs when a boot (running) system file or driver file will receive an incorrect message / update and go in and close to some resources which will be available for your system / PC can run unless they are made available close your system down and run a scan in the Windows blue screen of death.
How do I fix this problem?
For the most part find it quickly the error, but can not fix it.
Under Windows blue screen of death is essentially a file or several you either by booting in safe mode, remove the file and then your PC run normally and do not report multiple errors.
This is translatet in google translate. But i hope you can understandt it and will find a solution.
Kind Regards Kasper Rasmussen, XMS

| I am having this same problem. Running Windows 7 premium. Not sure what my graphics card is. I tried the latest update 450.2 and still crashed. I have invested so much time and real money on imvu I hope they fix this. 2nd Life doesn't make me crash but I'd have to start out with nothing. It makes me so sad. |

| I've had this problem with Nvidia/Windows7/IMVU. Searched it online, something about updating the computer BIOS and the graphics card. |

I just wanted to add that I was on IMVU for a few hours yesterday without any blue screens, so either it just didn't happen yet or I've no longer got that problem.
I haven't done anything really to stop them, just kept my IMVU and graphic card drivers up to date, so if it has stopped for me, I'm afraid I don't know what I did to make it stop O_o _________________ DP by Katelyn <3 |

| The BSoD occured on my computer when I updated to 445 and 444. I had to do complete system recoveries afterward. I hadn't had any problems with IMVU prior to those updates. This was around the time pulse was introduced to the client. I thought it may have been something to do with pulse. Since 450, I haven't had any BSoDs to occur on my laptop.
|

I still bluescreen on anything past 440.0. I recently bought a $200 motherboard (for other reasons) and that has not solved the issue, so either it's another piece of hardware or it's still Imvu.
If it is a software or hardware issue on my end then I do not understand why Imvu is the ONLY program that will crash my system. No other program, no matter how resource intensive will crash me. This includes: games, 3d rendering software, 3d modeling software, cpu intensive tasks (across all 4 cores) and memory intensive tasks.
Just the other day I was using 100% cpu on all 4 cores & 5.8gb out of 6gb of ram and the computer was a tad slow but stable. _________________ |

My laptop has broken, and I am going to assume this is because of to many BSOD's. So I truelly hope that I do not get even one BSOD on my new laptop. _________________ Catalog |
